Growing our Mission Area together...
Encompassing 19 churches, Borderlands Mission Area is amongst the largest of the Mission Areas within the Church in Wales. Our urban churches and rural parishes have all come together to share skills and resources in what is a truly exciting way to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
With community and fellowship at the heart of everything we do, we work as a team to encourage, support and inspire one another. There is strength in numbers, and by coming together as a Mission Area of 19 churches, we are able to rise to modern day challenges.
Bishop Gregory commissioned us to work together as a Mission Area. In the Eucharist, and in our prayers, we ask God’s blessing upon us as we step out in faith, ready to meet the challenges of sharing his gospel and his love.

Generous God, you call us to celebrate your love and generosity within the family of the Church.
We thank you for our Borderlands Mission Area and for our opportunities to share our abilities and resources within it.
Grant that your Holy Spirit will help us discern new ways of serving your Kingdom here, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
