A Mission Area is effectively a large parish. As part of its 2020 Vision, the Diocese of St Asaph is being reformed into Mission Areas, defined as a group of mutually supportive churches working together for a common purpose.
Rev Andrea Jones is our Mission Area Leader and has responsibility for our spiritual growth and mission. Andrea is based in Hawarden where she is the Rector of St Deiniol's Church.
We are blessed to have a number of members of our clergy team, as well as those in curacy roles.
Jan McTear is our Operations Manager. Rob Dawson is our Lay Chair and Deputy Mission Area Leader. Lacey Jones is our Safeguarding Officer. Val Aldcroft is our Mission Area Treasurer. And Alan Rainsforth and Gareth Jones are our Mission Area Wardens.
We are also very fortunate to have an active support network of readers, treasurers, worship leaders, pastoral assistants, and also safeguarding officers and trustees - all of whom are instrumental in the smooth running of our Mission Area.

Our 19 churches offer worship, warmth and friendship in abundance. And we make it our mission to focus on mission, as well as spiritual leadership and growth.
God of mission,
who alone brings growth to
send your Holy Spirit to give
vision to our planning,
wisdom to our actions and
power to our vision.
Help our church to grow in
numbers, in spiritual
commitment to you, and in
service to our local community,
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
